One of the key player of Real Madrid and the midfielder maestro Toni Kroos is ruled out of the El Clasico due to a serious injury. The World Cup and Champions League winner is suffering from a fractured metatarsal in his right foot which is recently confirmed by the Spanish club. Because of this injury, he won’t be available for the next two months. This means Kroos will be out of football action during the Madrid derby scheduled to be played on 19th November and El Clasico [3 December 2016].

Toni Kroos is one of the those Real Madrid footballers who played most minutes under the management of Zinedine Zidane. The player played all 90 minutes in the last 11 matches for Real Madrid. He is one of the most used players by Zidane.

During a match against Leganes last week, Kroos got injured but Real Madrid won against Leganes by 3-0. Kroos left Spain for the upcoming world cup 2018 qualifier match against San Marino, but he is expected to miss this game.
According to medical reports, the rehab period for a metatarsal fracture is two months which means he will miss some important games including match against Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, FWCQ game against San Marino.
This creates a big problem for the Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane to replace him with a midfielder. Club’s other midfielders Luka Modric and Casemiro are already out of the action because of injury.
