Brazilian winger Neymar may miss the upcoming El Clasico scheduled for 23rd April 2017 after picking up two Yellow cards in last La Liga game against Malaga. His ban could be extended as the player applauded the referees for the decision. Neymar scored against Real Madrid in his first ever El Clasico and has been always dangerous for Los Blancos.
Neymar on the verge of missing El Clasico
According to Amitai Winehouse During last La Liga game against Malaga, Neymar picked up first Yellow Card for obstructing a free kick by tying his laces next to the ball. He picked up second card for a foul on Diego Llorente and also applauded the fourth official.
Neymar is suspended for match against Real Sociedad. This ban could be extended for two or three games according to rules of La Liga. However, club manager Luis Enrique criticised referee’s decision stating

“There were nasty tackles from behind that didn’t earn bookings, while other fouls committed by us were. The rules are to be interpreted, but they should be the same for all.”
The return leg of El Clasico is set to be held at Santiago Bernabeu on 23rd April 2017. Real Madrid are currently leading with three points, but El Clasico could change the entire season of both teams. In the absence of Neymar, Arda Turan could be the replacement for the winger.
