According to El Chiringuito, Barcelona have made a bid of £70 million for Real Madrid winger James Rodriguez. Football Club Barcelona are desperate to bring the Colombian at whooping amount at price more than compared to when he visited Bernabeu. Before James Rodriguez, Isco was also linked with Barcelona, but the Spanish footballer is unlikely to join El Clasico rivals. However, looking on current situation of James Rodriguez at the current club, anything can happen.

Reports have also stated that James Rodriguez was offered €20 million for not to renew his contract at Real Madrid after contract expiration. The FIFA World Cup 2014 Golden Boot Winner is having tough times at Real Madrid. So far in this season, he has played just seven games under the management of Zinedine Zidane.
Rodriguez wanted to leave the club in the beginning of this year, but somehow, Real Madrid convinced him to stay as they were not able to sign new player because of transfer ban.
One more reason why Barcelona taking too much interest in Rodriguez is that Barcelona’s all time top goal scorer Lionel Messi recommended the club to sign him. The Argentine is a huge fan of Colombian and also advised him to leave Real Madrid last December.
Not only Barcelona, big clubs from Europe wants him. Germany’s biggest club Bayern Munich also wants to sign Rodriguez. Bayern is being managed by Carlo Ancelotti who is also desperate to bring the footballer at Allianz Arena.
This is an initial bid for the Real Madrid star. The Catalans are expected to make one more bid in summer transfer window. It is expected that Real Madrid will reject the offer, but they cannot stop Barcelona from trying.
James Rodriguez was brought to Santiago Bernabeu by Carlo Ancelotti in 2014 when he got World’s attraction in FIFA World Cup 2014. Since then, the player have played 70 games for Real Madrid and scored 22 goals in all competitions.
